a2z Appoints Sharon Buck New Director of Account Management
Columbia, MD - a2z, Inc., leading international developer of web-based software for associations and independent show organizers, announced today that Sharon Buck will rejoin the staff as Director of Account Management. Sharon will direct an all-new program that is designed to further enhance a2z’s client experience with greater service, timeliness and support.
Sharon originally served a2z as Sales Director from fall of 2002 until June of 2005. During her term in that position, she focused on the marketing and sales of a2zShow, the company’s premier online tradeshow software program.
Prior to joining a2z originally, Ms. Buck served as Expositions Manager for the American Heart Association (AHA) in Dallas where she introduced and launched a2zShow for four of the association's expositions. During her fourteen years of service with the AHA, Sharon was the assistant to the Medical Director of Scientific Sessions - the largest cardiovascular meeting in the world. She also served on the National Board of the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitions Association (HCEA) and on the Local Chapter of the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM).
"Sharon has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the meetings industry and with our products, so we - and our clients - are truly fortunate to have her back on the team", explained Michael Hatch, Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Sales at a2z. “We are looking forward to Sharon’s return and providing all of our clients with a heightened level of support and service.”
"a2z saved AHA hundreds of hours of staff time, and the customer-service was so exceptional that the decision to join a2z the first time just seemed natural!" said Ms. Buck. “Returning to take this new position is like coming home, and is an expansion of what I was doing previously with a2z.”
